Mentorship Programs in Residency: A Scoping Review
Moss Bruton Joe, MD; Anthony Cusano, MD; Jamie Leckie, BHSc; et al.
Mentorship during residency has been correlated with professional development, productivity, and academic success, as well as improved hiring opportunities, job satisfaction, and well-being. It can also advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in medicine. This scoping review is the first to synthesize data from formal mentorship programs implemented in residency programs throughout the US and Canada.

Educational Outcomes of Diversity Curricula in Graduate Medical Education
Arlene S. Chung, MD, MACM, FACEP; Annemarie Cardell, MD; Smruti Desai, DO, MPH, MA; et al.
This scoping review examines curricular interventions in GME regarding DEI, with a focus on educational outcomes, such as learner changes in behavior and impact on patient care. As the sum of the published literature describing such outcomes has not been well characterized to date, this review attempts to identify gaps and to inform future efforts toward designing curricula in this space.

RDE Project Office Hours

The ACGME is pursuing a rural data enhancement project to improve the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of GME location data. As part of this project, health systems and consortia will be removed as types of participating sites from the Accreditation Data System. If an ACGME-accredited program lists a health system or consortium as a participating site, ACGME staff members will contact the Sponsoring Institution's designated institutional official and institutional coordinator(s) with options.

The ACGME invites anyone with questions about this process to drop in during the following office hours (Note: An incorrect link was given for the April 27 office hours. The ACGME regrets the error.):
