Joint General Surgery/Thoracic Surgery (4+3) Pathway
The Review Committee for Thoracic Surgery will consider proposals for the Joint General Surgery/Thoracic Surgery (4+3) Pathway, a seven-year education and training pathway leading to eligibility for certification in both general surgery and thoracic surgery. Proposals for a 4+3 pathway require approval by the Review Committees for Surgery and Thoracic Surgery before implementation.
